Who I am
Grounded on compassion, empathy, and authenticity, I use evidence-based approaches to help clients explore opportunities for healing and growth.
Warmth, active listening, and a non-judgmental attitude are what I hold dearly in the therapy room.
I currently provide services through a number of clinics across Australia, including Apex Psychology (in-person and telehealth), Darwin Psychology Services (telehealth), Lilly Pilly Counselling (in-person and telehealth), and Mums Matter Psychology (telehealth).
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Professional Psychology from the University of New England. My work experiences include public health, private practices, Lifeline, and tertiary education settings.
As a bilingual practitioner who provides services in English and Mandarin, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
I have training and experience delivering a number of modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
My assessment services include cognitive, mental health, and psychosocial testing, for identifying and diagnosing mental disorders such as intellectual developmental disorder, attentional deficits/hyperactive disorder, specific learning disorder, and other issues.
